Our showroom - What are my options in-person?

You may receive products that you have ordered.
After having filtered and selected the products of your choice, You may freely inspect them before purchasing.
The possibility of refining the details of custom 
and business orders.

Please be aware that the requirement for any transaction in our showroom is a receipt/bill complete with the name and address of the recipient.

Our showroom is not a retail store, therefore our open hours correspond to office open hours.

Our showroom is CLOSED on holidays, on Saturdays that are workdays, and on weekends.

Please note that if you make a purchase in our showroom we must provide an invoice complete with your name and address.

Our showroom - Where can I find detailed directions?

The fastest route by car is for our customers to enter through Gate 2. of PP Center, the depot site where we are located. The depot area is rather large to navigate so please make sure you're properly informed about directions before visiting us.

Payment - Are credit cards accepted?

Yes, we accept credit cards in our showroom. No credit card payment is available on delivery. If you intend on using your credit card to make a purchase, we kindly ask you to state this fact either in the Payment Options section when purchasing from the webshop, or BEFORE billing when making a direct purchase in our showroom.

We accept: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Visa Electron. We do not accept American Express cards.

Sizing information - Where can I find details about the size of products?

You may find details about product sizing at generally the same location, on the page of each product. Please look for the red question mark next to the "Info line" text on the product page and click the to bring up the popup window which contains sizing information.

Sizing information - Is Filofax compatible with other brands distributed in Hungary?

Yes, the ring-system used by Filofax is usually followed by other brands that produce these types of products. A minor variation of a few millimeters in the size may occur with some inserts and refills, but this has no impact on everyday use.

The most important aspect you should consider is the distance between the rings (19 mm) and the number of rings which you may find on the Size Information on the product pages. As long as these match, your inserts will be compatible.

Shipping information and prices

We offer numerous methods for you to receive your order comfortably and safely.

For your convenience, our company offers you the Flex Delivery option free of charge. If you use this service, you are entitled to numerous options that facilitate and make the shipping of your order as easy as possible. Among others, with this service you will be eligible to receive updates and notifications about your shipment. For detailed information, please refer to our relevant information page.

Delivery and payment options and fees:

The cost of "Delivering to non-EU countries" covers the delivery cost of sending a standard size package. As the delivery cost depends on the size and weight of the package and the destination country, it may change. We will inform you about the accurate shipping cost before we close the procedures of your purchase by sending you a final invoice which will include the final shipping cost. Depending on the location, delivery time may vary (3-15 working days), but usually it is 2-4 days.

Additional fees, custom fees occurs at destination


Supplier cannot be aware of thus accepts no responsibility for any custom related charges (duty, custom fee, extra stroring charges due to delay of acceptance, etc.) occur at the destination. Customer accepts this and also accepts the fact that Customer must study the local custom regulations before placing an order and bear all custom related costs as they are not included in the delivery fee.

Purchasing - How long does the delivery take?

Local delivery in Hungary: 1 workday.

Foreign delivery to other countries: 2-4 workdays.

Please note that the above figures apply only for the delivery duration and does not contain the time need for administration. The administration time depends on the method of payment too, as preparing the invoice and confirming the successful bank transfer can take up to 3 days.

Please also note the time-zone differences and our working hours. Our staff often has to deal with several orders at the same time, so the administration may take up to 3 working days. Should you not get any kind of reply from us in more that 3 days, please check your "spam mails", as it can land there or please write to us and refer your order number.

Please do not forget: for your convenience, our company offers you the Flex Delivery option free of charge. If you use this service, you are entitled to numerous options that facilitate and make the shipping of your order as easy as possible. Among others, with this service you will be eligible to receive updates and notifications about your shipment.

Purchasing - Do I have to pay VAT?

By law, all transactions within the EU bear VAT. Companies with a valid EU VAT number can receive invoice without VAT charged. Please note that we have to check the validity of the EU VAT number before every transcation.

Sales to non-EU countries do not bear VAT.

Please select your country on the top right corner of the web page to see proper prices. Even though every efforts have been made to show accurate information, we always invoice based on regulations (see summary below), regardless what our system shows.

We call your attention that it is mandatory to get a signed POD (Proof Of Delivery), especially in case of deliveries to non-EU countries, as we have to prove that the products left the EU, which would not be possible in case of delivering to a PO box. We ask our customers to always provide a valid address and the name of a person who can take the products and can sign the POD.

Summary:

* VAT can be claimed back by companies based on their own responsibilities.

Purchasing - Do I have to pay custom duty or other fees?

In case of delivering within Hungary, no custom fees occur.

Based on our best knowledge, there is no custom fee to EU countries. We cannot be responsible for any storage fee, if the parcel company has to store the parcel due to any reasons connected to the customer (not available, being on holiday, etc.).

We have no information about additional fees occuring on entrance of non-EU countries. We cannot be aware of all countries custom regulations thus we accept no responsibility for any custom related charges (duty, custom fee, extra stroring charges due to delay of acceptance, etc.) occur at the destination. Please accept this and also accept the fact that you, the Customer must study the local custom regulations before placing an order and bear all custom related costs. The shipping fee does not contain any of these additional costs or fees only stand for delivering the goods to you.

Purchasing - Who is eliglible to receive an order?

In case of ordering a delivery, we ask for the name of the persons who can take the goods over from the courier. Please follow the tracking number of your parcel that we always provide via e-mail and make sure that you or the dedicated person is available for taking over the goods from the courier.

In case of personal pick up in our showroom, anyone who references the specific order number is eligible to receive the order.

Please be careful and provide your personal data only to a person who you trust as we do not have any control on this thus we take no repsonsibility for any inconveniences of this matter.

Purchasing - Is every product on the website available on stock?

Generally yes. In case one of our products is out of stock or unavailable, it will be indicated on the specific product page.

However, it is a possibility  - especially with "Last Chance" products - that the number of products on stock will be inadaquate to meet the ordered amount. For this reason we kindly ask our customers to wait for the order confirmation / invoice sent by our colleagues regarding every order (this is separate from the automatic confirmation sent by our system), and then visit the showroom in case of personal pickup or transfer the payment amount in case of in advance payment. This is the only way we can guarantee that your ordered item(s) will be on stock. We thank you in advance for your co-operation!

Purchasing - Can I order products to a PO Box?

No. None of the parcel companies deliver to a PO box. On the other hand, it is a must to get a signed POD (Proof Of Delivery), which would not be possible in case of delivering to a PO box. We ask our customers to always provide a valid address and a person who can take the products and can sign the POD.

Purchasing - Is there a minimum amount or pieces required?

The fewest pieces of products that you may order or purchase: one.

Acknowledgement of delivery

As customer, you accept that the reception of your delivered product must be acknowledged.

In the case of reception in person, and reception via the company's delivery service, acknowledgement is made by signing the company's copy of the physical receipt.

In the case of delivery via an outside delivery service, the delivery must be acknowledged in the service's handling system. In most cases this is done in the service's own electronic terminal, by signature and stating the name of the person accepting the delivery.

Both parties acknowledge that proof of delivery is mandatory, but especially important in deliveries made to countries outside the EU.

As customer you acknowledge that if you provide an invalid address, the Supplier may ask for another address that is valid. In the event that the customer can or will not provide a valid address, the Supplier has the right to refuse delivery, in which case the Supplier will refund any previously transferred funds, or deny accepting any initiated transactions (eg. Paypal payment).
